Mamba, Anyone?

A quick update on PoD. He's still fine, and he wasn't the Canadian UN Military Observer who was killed in the horrible stuff happening in Lebanon. That isn't where he is. There was a bit of action a few weeks ago in his locale, but it has been relatively quiet since then. Except for this:




A Black Mamba, one of the most poisonous snakes in the world. On the same day, they also saw a Puff Adder, another extremely poisonous snake. Nice! The funny thing is, PoD can't stand snakes! He sent a picture of him holding the mamba with a stick, as far away as possible, with a rather uncomfortable look on his face. Bullets, mines, grenades? No problem, but a dead snake has him squirming. Made me laugh, for sure!
