Excited and Nervous
Tonight at choir, Gordon asked me to play my flute in a piece we are performing on the choir tour in November. I am insanely excited, and some nerves are creeping in, but I've been goofing around with this part and it's not difficult (technique-wise, anyway). Time to do those tone excercises a lot between now and next Sunday's rehearsal!

Being a musician (using that term lightly for myself) I know you will do awesome. You are so musically inclined. It is a natural talent(& well studied) and the butterflies always like to fly and make our bellies nervous. You will be terrific!! If you need an audience to practice on, call me.

Was that the wine and shooters night? I think it was the Vietnamese and a whole lotta wine night. A WHOLE lotta wine! (sorry, the months just run into each other)
