Brrrrrrrrrr!
Corwin started ball hockey today. It's a city-run program. At a community Centre. The one near us was all booked up, so he's at a one in a nearby neighbourhood. It's kind of a country neighbourhood. No one told me it was outside. It's chilly today. Brrrrr!!!!

You city people. Growing up in the country we didn't know what an indoor rink was. (kidding, but kind of true) I think there was only 1 indoor rink and the rest were outdoors. Bundle up!!!

Is it wrong to hate organized kids sports already? I feel so guilty already
Harmony - It's Ball Hockey. Like Floor Hockey. How was I supposed to know? 'Cause the one at Eva James (which was full) is obviously inside. Don't worry - parka next time (better yet, Hubby can take 'em!!!)
crse - "organized" is a very loose term for this sport. There are 8 kids signed up. Three were there (probably because it had been raining and they knew it was outside). He's doing this because the "real" organized ice hockey is two weekend mornings, plus it's about a bazillion dollars once you factor in all the equipment, and we don't even know if he'll like it (he's kind of a pacifist in the sports playing. Really, he's too polite to try and take the ball - not a bad quality, but not really what you look for in hockey!)

Ball hockey, oh yeah! I would have thought a gym not an ice rink. Oh well, at least the forcast for this Sat is Sunny and Hot!!!
